Udara & Chandula
Udara & Chandula tied the knot on January 18th, 2024 at The Blue Water hotel in Wadduwa, in beautiful Sri Lanka. The Blue Water Hotel is a 5-star luxury accommodation in Sri Lanka, designed by the world-renowned architect Geoffrey Bawa, featuring breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean. Nestled among Wadduwa’s wild coconut groves, this serene, laid-back paradise boasts stunning sunsets and tranquil surroundings, making it the perfect destination for a luxurious beachfront wedding. Udara tells us, “We chose Sri Lanka because, Chandula and I both were born and raised there and most of our family still lives there. Even though we’ve been in Australia for the longest time, Sri Lanka is still home for us.”
Belle et Blanc bride ‘Udara’ picked the ‘Blake’ fit and flare wedding gown, with lace and beading. Udara tells us how she came to choose her beautiful gown, “It was the most beautiful experience. Donna, my dress fitter, helped me throughout the whole process. She was so nice and made me feel so beautiful. I wanted some changes done on the dress, so while I was trying it on she did her best to show me how the dress will look at the end with those changes.”
