A Glamorous Gown, Found First Try
Elissa never pictured herself finding a glamorous gown in Brunswick, but the very first dress she tried on at Belle et Blanc turned out to be the dress.
The Proposal
The proposal came on a sunny spring day during a private picnic in Olinda, a spot the couple loves to visit. Ashley had tried to keep it a surprise, though Elissa admits she had a sneaky feeling something was coming. Sure enough, when she asked for dessert, out came a box of homemade brownies with the ring hidden inside, and Ashley dropped to one knee.
The Wedding Day
Elissa and Ashley tied the knot on 23rd May 2026, in a celebration they, and everyone in attendance, call the best wedding they have ever been to. The night was packed with eating, drinking, and dancing, with hot jam donuts standing in for cake and quickly becoming the crowd favourite.
The Dream Gown
The gown itself, full of sparkle, suited Elissa to a T. “I couldn’t have dreamt of something better,” she says.
Their venue set the tone for a truly perfect evening, and throughout the night, guests kept telling Elissa the same thing: her dress was exactly what they pictured her wearing. A glamorous gown, a golden day, and a couple who would not have it any other way.
